South African disc jockey and producer DJ Melzi seemingly shocked many of his compatriots when he revealed his age during a podcast appearance.
An old clip of him speaking on the podcast and revealing that he was 21 surfaced online and went viral in no time, with some South Africans expressing shock that he was 21 when the interview was had. That was about a year ago.
Maybe that shouldn’t be surprising given how he has managed to keep many aspects of his life private. But now that South Africans know that he was born on 13 November 2021, they have not refrained from sharing their thoughts about that information.
Perhaps part of their surprise also stems from how much the muso has achieved in a short while. He started making music as a teen and, over time, has granted his name into the consciousness of music lovers across South Africa.
Beyond that, he is also known for his love for the good life and his delight in flaunting the same. Momentarily, at least, he’d pushed the public’s attention from the scrutiny he was facing over allegations that he cheated on his longtime girlfriend, Andiswa The Bomb.
Well, for DJ Melzi, life goes on.
