The songstress recently turned 30, and she was more than glad to have reached that age. Who in her position wouldn’t celebrate. There was an elaborate party to celebrate that triumph, and the cream of Mzansi society was on the ground to celebrate with her.
DBN Gogo is the daughter of South Africa’s former minister Jeff Radebe. But she didn’t need his name to rise in South Africa’s amapiano universe. In fact, she deliberately hid her relationship with the great man when she delved into the world of music.
It wasn’t until much later that peeps realized she was Radebe’s daughter, and their respect for her grew.
