“Insensitive” – Big Nuz’s New EP Title Denounced

Kwaito group Big Nuz is currently facing a backlash over the title of the group’s latest EP, “Last Man Standing,” with netizens describing the title as insensitive.

The group originally consisted of three members, Mashesha, Mampintsha, and Danger. Mashesha died in 2015 and was honoured recently with an album named for him. Sadly, another member, Mamointsha, died on Christmas Eve last year. This leaves just Danger as the only surviving member of the group.

Well, the songster thought it would make sense to release a new EP with the title “Last Man Standing.” The cover art for the project is already out. While some people found nothing wrong with the adopted title, some faulted it.

The argument from the critics of the title is that while it is true that Danger is the only surviving member of the group, he shouldn’t shove that reality down the truth of the public, especially as some people are still mourning the dead members, most especially Mampintsha, whose widow visited his grace days ago and even stated in her Instagram Story that she wished to die.

It is unclear whether Danger will eventually change the title of the EP to stick with it despite the criticisms.
