Mzansi praises Tyla after video surfaces showing pop icon Janet Jackson dancing to her viral hit “Water.”
Tyla is on top of the world right now. We are wondering who doesn’t know her. We have watched her rise to the peak of her career with the recent dominance of her hit single “Water.” There is certainly no stopping her now.
A few weeks back, the singer made South Africa proud when she became the first South African to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 in 55 years since Hugh Masekela. She has since torn through the charts and continues to grow stronger.
Mzansi was thrilled to see a video of pop icon Janet Jackson dancing and singing along to the song. The video was shared by @NIYMUSE on the X app with the caption,
“Panting as I type!! Here’s Janet Jackson dancing & singing along to Tyla’s ‘Water'”
Mzansi was impressed, and they took to the comments to praise Tyla for making the country proud. We also hear she was tagged by Janet Jackson on her Instagram stories. @NIYMUSE also commented, “Imagine being almost endorsed by the ULTIMATE Legend and skyrocketing to fame at this speed, Tyla; you got it girl.”
