Every other year, American rapper Jay-Z’s Roc Nation holds what it calls its pre-Grammy party. This year will be different entirely because there will be no such party.
The brand started hosting the exclusive pre-Grammy event back in 2011. It took a two-year break along the line because of the coronavirus pandemic, returning in 2023 to the delight of fans across the entertainment universe.
This year’s event was cancelled, per Page Six. despite the cancellation, though, Jay-Z will be out there with his wife Beyonce, both attending Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala on Saturday, February 3. The event is also expected to bring together other equally famous stars from both the film and music world.
Some fans are noticeably disappointed about the cancellation of Roc Nation’s pre-Grammy event though. This much is evident in their responses to the news so far. It remains to be seen if the Roc Nation event will return next year.
