The COVID-19 pandemic has us all on edge. Since the lockdown, everyone has been complying with the rules in an effort to limit the spread of the virus.
Last week, it was reported that South African schools will reopen on 1st June for Grades 12 and 7 students. Speaking in the announcement, Basic Education minister, Angie Motshekga said that this was the proposed plan, stating that it was subject to change and was still awaiting approval.
However, Khanyi Mbau is not in support of this plan and took to social media to air her views about it. According to her, “we are fighting the invisible enemy” and the curve has not flatten. She also stressed that since adults can still not go to church, Children should not be allowed to go back to school. She urged her followers to sign a petition against it which was supported by Uyanda Mbuli.
