In a viral clip, Kenneth had been seen outside a New York hotel alongside his associates, where he was heard saying, “Plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral, pu*sy!” it was taken to be a threat directed at Offset since he was staying at the hotel when the threat was made (allegedly).
Offset himself tried to downplay the incident, implying Kenneth might be going through financial difficulties. His take notwithstanding, Kenneth got slammed with 120 days of home detention for probation violation.
