Mafikizolo Celebrates Love Potion Reaching 30 Million Views On YouTube

South African band Mafikizolo has reached a new milestone with the song “Love Potion,” produced by DJ Maphorisa.

In a post to Instagram, Nhlanhla Nciza, the only lady of the two-member band, announced the milestone while thanking fans for supporting them to get that far on the streaming charts.

Mafikizolo was formerly a three-member band. But one of the members died years ago in a road rage. The two remaining members have managed to plod on since, winning over many music lovers with their singing. They have not had a replacement since, nor do they care to have any.

Released in 2017, it took exactly five years for “Love Potion” to hit 30 million streams on YouTube. That’s not bad for a South African song. With this milestone, Mafikizolo had joined the league of South African musicians with big streaming numbers on YouTube.

By the way, Mafikizolo’s fans were more than excited about “Love Potion” hitting 30 million streams on YouTube. This much should be obvious from the responses to Nhlanhla Nciza’s post.
