Max Verstappen Snags 50th F1 Win Despite Brake Issues

With Formula 1 racer Max Verstappen, the verdict is never say never. At least, this much manifested in his career once again after he pulled off a coup of sorts, blasting his way to his 50th F1 win despite brake issues.

Of course, some people could have pointed to break issues are reasons why they couldn’t win or didn’t win. But not Max Verstappen. He fought his way with a faulty brake to emerge victorious, bagging another important career win and putting him in the top league of winners in the game.

The symbolism of that win wasn’t lost on the racer, who scribed his emerging triumphant against all odds as “incredible.” The win is especially symbolic because he started from the sixth on the grid, ultimately working his way to the lead position at the halfway point.

He was able to maintain that lead, despite a furious chase by Lewis Hamilton, who tailed him to the final lap but still could not emerge victorious.

Questioned after the race, Max Verstappen readily admitted he had issues with his brakes. It was a beat tough, he noted, but then he had his eyes on emerging victorious at the end of the day, and he wasn’t disappointed. Talk about the miracles wrought by fierce determination.
