Mbali Ngiba And Pinky Ntshangase Exit Umkokha: The Curse” After Season 2

One thing about series and flicks is that, at some point, some actors will exit the show. There are many reasons for this, of course, from characters being killed off by scriptwriters to contractual disagreements – you name it.

On this count, perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising that Mbali Ngiba and Pinky Ntshangase have exited “Umkokha: The Curse” after Season 2. Both made great impacts in their roles. So some fans are understandably sad to see them exit the show.

On “Umkokha: The Curse,” Mbali Ngiba played the role of Zodwan and POinky played the role of MaZungu.

While the news making the rounds is that both of them are exiting the show, there isn’t much detail about their exit yet. It is unclear why they are leaving.

Interestingly, at the time of writing, neither of the two actresses has spoken about leaving the show, which is all the more puzzling for some fans.

Entertainment commentator Jabulabi MacDonald shared the news of both actresses’ exits from the show in a post on X. The reactions to the news were pretty mixed, with some viewers upset and wondering why characters are easily killed off in South African series. See the post below.

All eyes remain on the two actresses for what they will say later.
