It appears like the drama in the Zahara family isn’t over just yet – even with her tragic and sudden passing. It is claimed that the family of the late singer do not regard her fiance Mpho Xaba despite the two having had their lobola xelebrstion before her death.
But then, this may not come as a surprise given the controversies that enveloped her stay at the hospital up to the point of her death. Allegedly, she had barred family members from visiting the singer at the hospital, except for himself and Zahara’s mother.
Zahara died on December 11 after days of battling for her life at the hospital. It is claimed that she died from liver failure induced by alcoholism. But her family has never stated the same thing, insisting that she complained of bodily pain and was taken to the hospital, where she died.
Anyway, at the moment, sources are claiming that Zahara’s family do not see Mpho Zabas as the late singer’s husband as, according to the same sources, he did not complete lobola before her death, The family’s spokesperson Oyama Dyosiba also claimed that no lobola was paid.
So Mpoho Xaba is technically alone now with no claim to Zahara.
