December is around the corner, and apparently, it’s time for a bit of heat as MTV Base South Africa announces the return of its Hottest MCs series. Expectedly there is great excitement over the announcement.
The channel announced the return in a short youtube clip, which you can check out at the end of this post. The 2-part special will be exclusive to the MTV Base network (DStv Channel 322) on December 1 and 2 at 17:30 CAT.
This hop and happening special will rate the best rappers so far this year, from 10 to 1. Several criteria will be used to rate the Hottest MCs, including buzz, bars, sales, impact and so much more. South Africans who have been following the ven from when it was instituted are pretty keen to know who would rule the list at the end of the day.
Already, for those who might want to know, the judges have been picked and they include Kyeezi and French Fry, who was excited enough about his selection to tweet about it.
