One of the longest-running South African soapies, Muvhango, is getting some retouching – for good. The series has not only announced new additions to its cast but it has also brought back at least two previous cast members.
If you’re a big fan of Mulalo and Matshidiso, whether for their acting gifts or their creative ingenuity in pushing the story forward, you might want to know that the two of them are returning to Muvhango.
In fact, the news of their return to the series is already causing a buzz online, with some South Africans seemingly chuffed that the two will be back into the ever-evolving world of the soapie.
Beyond the two characters mentioned earlier, fans of Muvhango should expect new additions like Mudi Mudau, who played the character Nkele Dikeledi Netshitangane, and Sinete Nemakonde, who played the character Reneilwe “Rene” Netshitangane.
The other additions fans can expect as part of the series include Aubrey Mmakola and Tshepo Mosese.
With the additions and corresponding announcements, expectations are pretty high. If the actors are able to live up to expectations is left to time. One thing is clear, however. Viewers will share their thoughts about the performance soon enough. Will you be ready for that?
