Amapiano producer Reece Madlisa had many of his compatriots talking recently but it had nothing to do with new music. Far from it. On the contrary, it had everything to do with what transpired at a Lacoste shop in South Africa recently.
The songster had popped into one of the Lacoste shops in Mzansi and had the place temporarily closed so that he could shop privately without other people joining or meeting him at the shop.
The shop pasted a notice on its door and shut the place up. In the notice, Lacoste informed patrons that the shop was temporarily closed for a private shopping experience with Reece Madlisa. It also revealed the time when the shop will be opened to the public once again.
It is unclear what provoked this move, but then, some of the wealthiest people have shopped at designer stores without having to close down the place. At least, Floyd Mayweather was in South Africa recently and shopped without closing the designer store he went to. See the post from Lacoste below.
