Mzansi Relieved As Moozlie Survives Cyclone Belal In Mauritius

A cyclone is one natural event that no one would want to be caught in. But then, life happens and people find themselves in the middle of a cycle. Of course, not everyone survives.

For South African rapper and media personality Nomuzi Mabena (with the adopted stage name Moozlie), it is happy survival. In case you missed it, she was in Mauritius on vacation, reportedly with other friends.

A tropical storm was said to have hit the place while they were there. Cyclone Belal didn’t come to come, as the saying goes.

While many of her compatriots worried for her safety in that location, it has since been reported that she is safe – as are the people with her on her trip to the country.

The latest news of her being safe is spreading a wave of relief among her fans and South Africans as well. Indeed, another loss is something the music industry back home cannot afford to take.

Moozlie stands out among the noticeable rap voices in South Africa. She recently courted controversy over what she wore to her performance which left her derriere cheeks bare.

But that was seemingly forgotten when the news of the cyclone broke.
