SA Hip Hop star Nadia Nakai has teased a forthcoming song dedicated to her late boyfriend, AKA, featuring contributions from Zakes Bantwini & Shekhinah.
While Nadia Nakai started the year by being mocked by fans for allegedly moving on too quickly from mourning her former boyfriend, AKA, the star seems to still be in that mode. She previously shared plans to drop a new project in tribute to the late SA Hip Hop icon.
Nadia first released the tribute track titled “Never Leave,” featuring Kashcpt. Kash spoke to Briefly News about working on the song with Nakai. He said,
“Working with Nadia was a very memorable experience; she’s always shown me love, and I’m grateful to be a part of anything with substance; I’m grateful she included me and thought about me when making her decision.”
She has now teased the next song with a snippet on social media. Titled “Missing You,” the song features samples of Tamia’s Missing You, and Nadia takes a line from AKA’s hit song “Fela In Versace.” She also featured the talented Shekhinah and Grammy winner Zakes Bantwini on it.
Fans reacted positively to the snippet, praising her for the work she did on the song.
