Mzansi rapper Nadia Nakai shares a picture of Kairo Forbes sitting on her late dad AKA’s grave.
The world lost AKA in February last year, and our hearts have not been the same since. The famous rapper, who was shot dead on February 10 while leaving a restaurant in Durban, would have turned 36 on Sunday.
His fans, fellow celebs, and family members made sure to celebrate him. Nadia Nakai shared a video on her social media showing how they celebrated the late emcee. In the video, she was seen at the late rapper’s final resting place at the West Park Cemetery with his daughter Kairo Forbes, her mom DJ Zinhle, and his parents Lynn and Tony Forbes.
She also revealed that Kairo wanted to release 36 balloons into the sky to honour her late dad. She shared that she insisted that the balloons must be biodegradable so as to not harm the environment.
While they seemed to have had a great time there, it looked heartbreaking when Nadia shared a picture of Kairo sitting on her father’s grave looking at the headstone. She wrote, “Oh Kairo, I’m so sorry. 💔😔
Kairo still misses her dad way more than his fans do. RIP AKA.
