SA Hip Hop star Nasty C shares a message of gratitude to American rapper Rick Ross.
Nasty C and Rick Ross’ friendship is not a hidden thing to the fans. The two were recently spotted in an Instagram Live video where Ross hinted at visiting Durban. Nasty recently showed love to the rap star in a message shared online. He said,
“I wanna send a message to Rick Ross, yoh bro, thank you dawg, you’re an icon, you’re a legend you already know that, everyone knows that, and you’ve been given a talent, you’ve been given a gift, you’ve been given a crazy blessing and you’re sharing that with everyone so thank you,” Nasty C said. “Not only for what you’re doing for me, but for what you’re doing for everybody else. I just wanna say thank you, bro.”
He also voiced his gratitude for meeting Rick Ross at a concert in Zimbabwe.
“I honestly would have just been happy with what I already got, which is to meet you in Zim and get a picture with you. As someone who grew up watching you on TV, that alone made me very happy. But it went so much further than that, you know my name, you know my music, and you celebrate me the way you do, so thank you,”
The “There They Go” star spoke about the importance of rappers showing gratitude towards each other.
“I think it is very important that we show our gratitude, there’s a lot of bullsh*t going on on the net and people are not shy to post dumb sh*t, but like when it comes to some real sh*t like thanking someone or giving someone their flowers, people are little hesitant to do that for some reason. So I just wanted to do something different.”
He continued, “I dont know, I’ve had a lot of crazy moments like this happen to me in my life like I said before. But you know I’m trying to do something different to show you guys how grateful I am. Im really really grateful, like I dont take these moments for granted at all, so once again Ross thank you, bro, love.”
