Mzansi actress Nolwazi Shange-Ngubeni has slammed claims that she was fired from “Scandal” for being a diva on set.
If you follow the hit show “Scandal,” then you must have seen when Nolwazi Shange-Ngubeni’s character Mbali was killed off. There were rumours that she had become unbearable on set.
A source told City Press that “They had to eliminate her storyline. It had nothing to do with her acting but was about her personality, so they had to kill her character. Her behaviour and relationships with other cast members weren’t healthy.”
Nolwazi has slammed the claims and said she left because it was the end of the road for Mbali. She said she has a great relationship with the producers.
“What? No, absolutely not. We actually had a gracious meeting with the team, and I am still in contact with them. We spoke recently at Scandal! to have a meeting about something else. Villains are exhausting to watch. They become predictable. Even the second Mbali went the route of being a villain. It was very obvious.”
