“MOYA” podcast host Ntsiki Mazwai has retracted her apology to Shimza, saying he does not deserve it.
After fans hailed Shimza for his annual One Man Show in Tembisa last year, during which he shared the stage with his mom, he recently dominated the news for a Twitter spat with Ntsiki Mazwai. The poet and podcast host accused him of sleeping his way to the top. She wrote,
“You literally slept your way to the top @Shimza01. Stop. Just stop.”
She later released a video apologizing for her tweet.
“I see that I’m in the papers for the wrong reasons again, and I’d like to apologise to my audience for partaking in an engagement that is not expected of me.
“I should be a better human being, and next time, I should ignore engagements that don’t vibrate on the frequency I would like my audience to engage in.”
Mazwai’s fans did not like that she apologized. They called for her to retract her apology and stand by what she said. They believe Shimza had something to do with the apology. The controversial poet took their advice and posted a second video retracting it. She said to Shimza,
“I’m not apologising anymore. I take it back; you don’t deserve it!”
That left her fans impressed.
