It has often been said that people will always root for whatever they like even when it is either no longer present or has been discontinued. This happens to be the present reality of the South African series Rhythm City.
The series was discontinued a while back, but there is an ongoing campaign to bring it back to the screens. The basis of this campaign to see the series stems in part from a Twitter user asking a question on the cancelled South African series that viewers believe deserves another season.
For others, it was an avenue to share their thoughts on the series as well as members of its cast. On the whole, the commentary about Rhythm City has been pretty positive. You can check out some of the comments below.

Series don’t last forever, but their lasting for a long time is determined by several factors, including audience engagement. Sometimes, though, even audience engagement is not enough to keep them – as evident with Rhythm City, And now some lovers of the series are clamouring to bring it back. That says a lot, of course.
Still, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the series.
