Actress-turned-DJ Pearl Thusi recently played her first international gig as a DJ.
It is evident that Pearl Thusi is doing well for herself. Despite being an upcoming DJ, the famous actress has enough star power to pull off almost anything, including an international gig as a DJ.
When Pearl shared her decision to become a DJ, she took to social media and wrote a message about it. It read,
“Delay is not denial. Trust in the process. I’ve made a dream come true. Whether this makes sense to you or not, worry about yourself and make your dreams come true. I pray this convinces you to never give up on your goals.”
She also revealed that she was worried about what people would say about her decision, but she still did it. Thusi has been criticized since she announced her plans to kick off a DJing career. She was endorsed by her former bestie, DJ Zinhle, and they once played a set together.
Taking to social media last week, she announced her first ever DJ gig in Zambia. Thusi wrote,
“I’ll be hogging the Aux in Zambia tomorrow. My first time playing outside of SA!”
She was congratulated by fans and fellow celebs who wished her well and more wins.
