Radio star Penny Lebyane celebrates Nigeria’s loss at the AFCON finals in a spectacular manner.
The Internet has been abuzz since last week when Nigeria faced South Africa. The back-and-forth was crazy as both countries dragged each other. Nigerians roasted SA following their defeat in the Semi-finals of the Africa Cup Of Nations. SA ate humble pie and waited for the day of reckoning.
That day came on Sunday night when Nigeria lost to Côte d’Ivoire (1:2), and SA came through with the mocking. It really was a good time to be alive. Our celebs faced each other, and SA trolled Nigeria for their loss.
Penny Lebyane was not left out of the fun. She tagged Nigerian MTV Base presented Dada Boy as she mocked with a sign about his country’s loss on her phone. She wrote,
“I have an announcement. @DadaBoyEhiz”
The radio star posted a follow-up post that read,
“Yoooooo, they were cooked mos on these streets… Ghana even took jollof from them. What an awesome continent on X.”
Her fans were thrilled with her and took to the comments to react. A fan praised her for giving it back to Nigerians, while another fan hilariously asked, “Where is the peace.”
