Riky Rick Shares His Opinion On Owning Masters Of Records

The issue of owning one’s masters as a musician has been a subject of conversation globally. The subject isn’t exactly new, but it gained global attention when American rapper Kanye West delved into it. The “DONDA” champ is determined to get his masters back.

Back in South Africa, Family Tree rapper Cassper Nyovest has been trying to educate artistes on the vitality of owning their masters. But it appears like not many are prepared to listen to him just yet.

Well, the latest to speak on the masters issue is Riky Rick. Interestingly, Riky Rick and Cassper Nyovest are or were friends. Rick weighed in on the masters debate in a recent interview with DJ Sabby, which you can check out below

By the way, Riky Rick recently released an extended play titled “Ungazincishi.” Not many saw the work coming from the songster whose musical talents fellow muso AKA complimented earlier this month.

Well, do you agree with RIky Rick on the subject of masters? Do you think the songster of the Cotton Fest fame actually addressed the problem.
