Rita Ora Grateful For ‘Today Show’ Gig After Kelly Rowland Walked Out

British singer Rita Ora shows gratitude for getting to co-host The Today Show after Kelly Rowland walked out at the last minute.

“Anywhere” singer Rita Ora has confirmed co-hosting the Today Show in a post shared on Instagram. She posted pictures and wrote,

“Well, this happened! We had two minutes to prepare. Ahhh, thank you, @hodaandjenna for asking me to co-host the show… Everyone was so lovely and kind, I had SO much fun doing it!! Love to everyone that tuned in, maybe we should do more??!!!”

According to reports, Kelly Rowland, who was there to promote her new film “Mea Culpa,” walked out because she and her team didn’t like her dressing room. Ora agreed to fill in at the last minute, and people at the show were impressed with how great she was.

An insider to Page Six: “Kelly and her team were not happy. They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving [Hoda Kotb] without a guest host for the 10 am hour. She’s beloved at ‘Today.’ She was getting the full hour, and Hoda’s the biggest hype woman on the planet! It made no sense.”

They also confirmed that the dressing rooms at ‘Today’ are among the smallest in TV.

“They’re not nice. It’s the oldest building. There are major space limitations, [it’s] not glamorous. It’s not fresh flowers, and candles, and gourmet food. It’s basically [a] white box,” said an insider.
