Mzansi actor Sello Maake KaNcube has reacted to rumours surrounding his alleged rocky marriage to Pearl Maake KaNcube.
Since Sello and Pearl married each other two years ago, their union has been subject to rumours. Sello has also been in the news a lot this year. He spoke about recently after being snubbed for a job at the Market Theatre.
The theatre advertised a position for an Artistic Director and hired a historian, Gregg Homann, instead. Reacting to a tweet by Trompies star Eugene, he wrote,
“They could have come clean and stated that this job had a face, a name, and surname before it was even advertised! They must come for me because I’m now ready to fight for what is right!”
With his marriage to Pearl being rumoured to be on the rocks, the star addressed it on social media. He wrote,
“I was not going to address the stories which are making the rounds. This was simply because people will always write what they want, and we have no control over that, we, however, own our own narrative!
“I need to set the record straight for those who keep praying and love our union! The rest, we read their comments and only feel sorry for them! Here is nothing but the truth! She is the only Mrs Mine that I know and love! Pearl Mbewe Maake Kancube Don’t celebrate others’ ‘downfalls’ prematurely. Life is but a journey!”
