Amapiano singer and songwriter Sha Sha was recognized by Billboard alongside Beyoncé and Drake in their recent article.
Sha Sha continues to make Mzansi proud. The talented singer released her latest album, “I’m Alive,” last year. The album houses 13 tracks and features contributions from Visca, Mdoovar, Just Bheki, Musa Keys, DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Focalistic, Mas Musiq, etc.
The album caught the ears of the international music news outlet Billboard. The music publication added Sha Sha’s “I’m Alive” to their list of “The 25 Best Albums of 2022: Staff Picks.” Billboard wrote that “even those unfamiliar with the South African House subgenre Amapiano will be allured from the first beat of” the album.
The Zimbabwean star made the list alongside international stars Drake, Beyoncé, and more. The excited singer thanked the publication for including her on the list. She wrote, “Thank you Billboard! The world’s biggest media on the showbiz choosing my album as one of 25 favorite of the year alongside Beyoncé and Drake!”
