Shimza Will Donate 1000 School Shoes To Underprivileged Pupils

Famous Mzansi DJ Shimza makes a change by donating 1000 school shoes to underprivileged pupils.

Shimza has always been about making change and lending a helping hand. The famous businessman hosts a Christmas lunch for orphans in Thembisa a day before his one-man show every year. It is later followed by a shoe donation drive.

According to reports, Shimza is donating school shoes to learners in various schools around his home township of Thembisa, Gauteng again this year. Zimoja reports that Shimza, through his Shimuzic Foundation, will hand out 1000 pairs of school shoes. He will do this alongside the Hollywood Foundation to give out the branded 1000 Hopeful Soles.

Shimza said, “It always feels important for me to give back to the community that supports me and my music. This time of the year is hard for a lot of families and those who cannot afford school fees and uniforms. I just want to play my part in changing a young person’s life, even if it’s one child at a time. I want to see a change. This time, it’s 1000 kids.”

The two foundations have also founded THE HUB, aiming to fight against the high unemployment rate in the country by granting internships.
