He is not a fashion model but South African rapper Sjava has shown his fashion side recently and he had the attention of his compatriots.
The songster was co-opted as part of the collective that showcased the latest MaXhosa designs. He showed up on the runway looking grand in a MaXhosa print that tells the African story.
A clip of him traipsing down the runway was shared by controversial blogger Musa Khawula, who also noted the fashion house the songster was walking for. You can check out the post below.

Many South Africans were impressed with what they saw, with some of them commenting that he should as well take modelling seriously since he stood out with the designs he rocked for the South African brand.
Sjava himself is grateful to have been a part of the runway event and he thanked Laduma, the entrepreneur behind the brand.
A rapper being used as a fashion model is not something one sees all the time. But then it is certainly a big boost for the maXhosa brand to have a respected musician like Sjava showcase some of the brand’s designs.
The coming days might reveal if we should look forward to Sjava the model.
