Amid the ongoing controversy over claims that Sonia Mbele is owing the cast of the reality show Real Housewives of Johannesburg, and the prospect of an investigation, the mother of one has come out to clarify the issues on the ground.
While she admitted owing the cast members of the show’s third season, she pointed out the reason she is unable to pay. According to her, the channel Mxansi Magic, which broadcasts the show, has not paid her, meaning she is not in a position to pay the cast of the show.
Days ago, it was reported that Sonia Mbele was owing the cast of the show, who have refused any further appearance on the platform until the debt was cleared. The case generated so much interest given the calibre of Sonia herself and the recent dramas that haver enveloped her, including owing the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
She has since cleared her SARS debt, according to reports. The only thing she is yet to clear at the time of writing is the debt owed to the cast of the third season of RHOJ. Interstingly, MZansi Magic has not denied the claims that the channel is owing Sonia.
