Stories of deadbeat dads are not new. They abound in countries and cultures around the world, including South Africa, where local actress Sonia aMbele has just told her story.
It is common knowledge that she had a son from a previous relationship. What many people do not know are the details about the man with whom she had the son and what their lives used to be like. Well, she has just poured out the details for the world to see.
During a recent interview, she revealed that not only was her son’s father a deadbeat, but he just didn’t care and was completely uninterested in their son or his welfare, She referenced a point when she went to the grocery to make some purchases and he saw her here.
He came around and asked her what she was doing and she pointed out that people go to the store to buy groceries and that was exactly what brought her there.
