What’s making news across South Africa right now is that the Rainbow Nation is excluded from the list of countries that the American will visit as part of the African leg of his tour. The “Donda” rapper is on course to visit Lagos, Nigeria, Cairo, Egypt, and Nairobi, Kenya, as part of the African leg of his tour.
Many South Africans are disappointed that Mzansi was excluded as part of the African leg of the tour, with some of them pointing out that it was another form of torture following Nigeria beating South Africa at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-finals.
It is unclear why South Africa wasn’t included, especially as it has a more stable government in power than, say, Nigeria, where a druglord rigged his way to victory in the presidential election last year.
