Sunday is especially significant for the singer because she is on her way to breaking the record for most Album of the Year wins. Her “Midnights” album is nominated in the prestigious Album of the Year category. A win for her would effectively bump her ahead to four wins in the category.
Already, the songstress holds three Album of the Year category wins so far – a matter of immense prestige to any artist. That position – that of three Album of the Year category wins – is currently held by a few other celebrated voices, including Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon.
