One reality of life is that some people will support you and some will not. How you react to both experiences is entirely up to you. Bu then, nothing beats winning and seeing a lot of people support you despite some opposition.
This is the current reality of South African singer Ntokozo Mbambo, who recently snagged three awards at the recently concluded South African Music Awards (SAMA). Of course, her win filled her with joy and her fans were just as happy for her.
But some people who were displeased with her win, most notably the singer Kelly Khumalo. She was snubbed at the awards and ended up challenging Mbambo’s win. As far as she was concerned, things were rigged in Mbambo’s favour. But were they? We cannot independently confirm that.
At any rate, rate, some notable voices have shown support publicly for Ntokozo. Among them are the singer Thandiswa Mazwai and the actress Rami Chuene. Ami made it clear that Ntokozo was deserving of the award she got. She also wished blessings on the singer.
