Radio star Thando Thabethe and best friend Tumi Maimela were reportedly sued by a facility after near-death experiences from their liposuction procedures.
According to recent reports, Thando Thabethe and best friend Tumi Maimela suffered near-death experiences and were hospitalized following procedures to look snatched. The ladies have been sued by the facility for not paying.
Thando reportedly underwent a liposuction procedure which caused her to bleed out. While Tumi underwent three procedures, breast reduction, 360 liposuction, and a Brazilian B** Lift, and she was admitted to the Life Fourways hospital.
The besties wrote a letter to the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in which Thando stated that she suffered heart failure due to Vivari Hotel and Aesthetic procedures. Tumi wrote that one of the professionals who assisted in her procedure was not experienced. She suffered from fain for long hours until the next day.
She wrote, “I was informed that I had lost a lot of blood during the surgery…I was told I had heart failure due to the amount of blood lost in the surgery.” She also revealed that Thando did hers the next day, on 26 November.
“She ended up extremely swollen, and they opened some stitches to let the liquid that looked like blood run out. She panicked and thought she was bleeding to death. I was in the room when my friend was bleeding, and it looked like a little waterfalls of blood gushing out of her. This was extremely traumatic for me to witness.”
