Mzansi actor Kwenzo Ngcobo, known for his role as Qhawe in Showmax’s hit show “The Wife,” has bagged a role in the forthcoming Netflix series, “Soon Comes Night.”
Kwenzo Ngcobo has been a name Mzansi is excited to know and wants to see more of. The famous actor has fans loving up on him for slaying his role as Qhawe in the hit Showmax series “The Wife.”
According to recent reports, the famous actor will feature in the forthcoming Netflix series, “Soon Comes Night” alongside Don Mlangeni and Sisanda Henna. The news was shared by entertainment reporter Jabu Macdonald. Jabu wrote,
“Star of #TheWifeShowmax season 3 Kwenzo Ngcobo will also star in a new Netflix series, premiering in 2024.”
Acclaimed filmmaker Eddie Ramohlale spoke about the forthcoming series, describing it as a six-part crime drama directed by Thabang Moleya and Sanele Zulu. Ngcobo will also star alongside Albert Pretorius, Didintle Khunou, Kenneth Nkosi, Bahumi Mhlongo, and more.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on Friday, 19 January 2024. Ngcobo made quite an impression with his performance in “The Wife.” He said about the show in a comment to IOL in 2022, “This show was my breakthrough because it’s just so huge. Everybody loves it.”
