Some men usually go out of their way to celebrate their wives or partners when they give birth. Such men would buy them gifts, which can come in any form, from cars to houses to home appliances – you name it.
Such gifts are usually called “push gifts” – you know, for “pushing” babies out into this world. Lol.
Well, it appears like South African media personality Ayanda Thabethe is among those who have experienced the joys of a push gift.
In pictures currently making the rounds online, she could be seen flaunting an R5 million Maybach she got from her partner Peter Mstsimbe for giving birth to their second son. She appeared happy. Well, who in her position wouldn’t be? Lol.
Anyway, the reactions to the gift have been pretty mixed, with some people congratulating her and some seemingly unimpressed and asking what Matsimbe does for a living.
Some even went beyond that, alluding to him being involved in fraudulent activities.

Ayanda Thabethe wouldn’t be dragged into the whole controversy, though. She is just out there living what many would consider her best life. What the public says or thinks about her isn’t of much concern to her. That’s her reality.
