The media reports that Deli Malinga won the Best Supporting Actress in a Telenovela award at the South African Film And Television Awards, making it her first win in three decades in the South African film industry. She bagged the award for her role as MaNgema on Redemption.
The star could not help back her happiness as she opened up about how it made her feel. She revealed that she had almost given up on getting any awards because of how long it took her. She also urged her fellow actors to appreciate every role because none is too small.
“I never thought something like this will happen to me, I don’t know why, because, yes, I always give 900% commitment and dedication to my craft. Lord God, keep on shining on me, help me to be always be humble and increase more love for people.”
