Piano DJ Uncle Waffles celebrates as her songs “Yahyuppiyah” and “Tanzania” hit multi-platinum status.
Swaziland star Uncle Waffles is on top of the world. She is currently one of the most talked-about female DJs and musicians in Africa right now. Waffles has rubbed shoulders with big names and gotten co-signs from some of the world’s most prominent artists.
Months back, she dropped her highly anticipated second project, “Asylum,” and the response has been crazy. The project houses the viral hit song “Yahyuppiyah,” featuring contributions from Tony Duardo, Justin99, PCee, EeQue, and Chley. They all did a fantastic job on it.
The star recently took to Twitter to announce that her two lead singles, “Tanzania” and “Yahyuppiyah,” have been certified multi-platinum. The first has hit 7x platinum, and the second, 4x platinum. Both songs have been well received by fans and have also become viral hits on social media. Congrats to her.
