Mampinth’a death was a big shock to many South Africans, but even more shocked was his wife Babes Wodumo, who had just given some glimpses into the moment when she found out he was dead.
It was said that he had a mild stroke and was rushed to the hospital. The word “mild” was enough to give many people hope that it wasn’t too serious and that he would be back to his family before Christmas. But life had other plans. Mampintsha died on Christmas Eve, sending shockwaves across South Africa’s music scene.
The most hit was Babes Wodumo, the wife with whom he had a son Sponge Woduml. In a recent Instagram Love with her followers, she informed them about how she reacted to the news of his death. According to her, she lay on his chest for about two hours.
