Wiseman Zitha Lands New Role in ‘Queen Modjadji’

Mzansi actor Wiseman Zitha has landed a new role alongside Shudufhadzo Musida and Ndavi Nokeri in “Queen Modjadji.”

Wiseman Zitha, known for his role in “Giyani: Land of Blood” has bagged a new role in Mzansi Magic’s upcoming series “Queen Modjadji.” The news was reported by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, who announced that Zitha would play Mamaila in the new series.

According to a report by The South African, the famous actor will star alongside actress Ngelekanyo Ramulodi, who plays Young Queen Modjadji. Bona also writes that famous beauty queens Shudu Musida and Ndavi Nokeri, will play queens in the upcoming drama series. Both pageant queens reportedly hail from the Limpopo province.

According to DStv, “Queen Modjaji”is  produced by Rhythm World Productions, known for producing the hits series “Sibongile and The Dlaminis,” “My Brother’s Keeper,” “Umkhokha : The Curse,” and more.

Ndavi Nokeri will play Muthanoni Khensani, one of Queen Modjadji’s wives from the Tsonga Royal Family, while Musida will play Muthanoni Mulalo another wife of the wives from the Venda Royal Family.

Duma Ndlovu, who is a part of the producers, said, “The earth, the elements, and the energy of humans connect in ways that are both physical and spiritual, both obvious and unseen.”

“Queen Modjadji was a living embodiment of this, and so we will explore what this royal title, and the women who’ve held it, have lived, sacrificed, lost, and achieved.”
