Watch: Crowd Allegedly Boos Gogo Skhotheni Over Technical Glitches During Her Set

A while back, she informed her fans that she was branching into the world of deejaying, and true to that, she launched her career. Her first baptism of fire happened recently after she experienced technical glitches during her set, leading to her audience booing her.

It must have felt pretty terrible being stuck with some technical issues while the impatient crowd made mordant noises over the situation.

Gogo, who is more famous as a sangoma (traditional healer) than anything else, had a club set and showed up for her performance. However, the equipment in use is said to have malfunctioned, leading to her not being able to do the job for which she was booked, albeit temporarily.

In a clip shared by the controversial blogger Musa Khawula, she could be seen in a light mood, playing her set when the music stopped abruptly. She then reached out to complain to someone about the issue. The fans were already impatient and started booing her. See the clip below.

Technica; glitches are nothing novel. DJs experience them now and then. However, some more experienced DJs almost instantly improvise to get the audience to sing along with them as they spit new bars from the mic.
