If you have been wondering why South African musician Emtee wasn’t selected to be a part of the cast of the show The Love & Hip Hop SA, you finally have an answer.
Zaddy Swag recently addressed the issue, disclosing why the “Prayer” chanter was not eventually picked as part of the cast despite his name having been propped initially.
According to Zaddy Swag, Emtee was not picked as part of the cast because of his reputation. He said he tried advocating for the songster, but that advocacy was not enough to get Emtee to be a part of the show.
He said that the producers had doubts about Emtee. And although he reached out to another channel to get Emtee on something as well. He claimed that those corporate also had their reservations about him. He believes Emtee has a bad reputation that makes brands run away from him. You can check out his tweet below.
By the way, when the Love & Hip Hop SA show actually started, Emtee had tweeted about it and how he ought to be a part of it.
His dream just never materialised. If he would eventually make it to new seasons of the show is left to time.
