Zendaya’s Generates $13.3 Million In Media Exposure With Robot Suit

American star Zendaya’s Robot Suit at the Dune premiere reportedly generates $13.3 Million in media exposure for Mugler.

Famous actress and fashion icon Zendaya has been the name on every lip since she joined her “Dune: Part Two” co-stars to promote the new film. The star has hit the carpet wearing exciting pieces, and the fans can’t get enough of her.

Earlier this month, she appeared at the London premiere wearing an archival ensemble from Mugler’s fall 1995 collection. According to reports, the outfit garnered $13.3 million in Media Impact Value for the label.

Yahoo writes that a post shared on the fashion house’s Instagram depicting Zendaya’s look generated $152,000. “MIV is a proprietary metric that assigns a true monetary value to marketing strategies across print, online, and social media in order to calculate return on investment.”

The suit, which took six months to construct, features plexiglass cutouts and a chrome frame. The cyborg couture by Mugler was created in collaboration with artist Jean-Jacques Urcun, and it was inspired by the sci-fi film “Metropolis.”

The suit initially debuted on the runway during Mugler’s 25th anniversary show in Paris. It was included in the Brooklyn Museum’s expansive “Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” exhibition in New York in 2022.
