An album listening session is like a pre-party, giving fans a chance to listen to a project before its official release. Of course, not everyone gets to be invited to the session.
It is a mark of honour and courtesy to those who are invited to the listening session. It is even greater honour for the person co-opted to host the same. At least South African rapper and podcast host Zingah felt this way.
He was picked as the host of the South African boy band Blaq Diamond. He did a splendid job of hosting the event.
By his own account, he had no clue how he ended up as the choice of the group to just the listening session. But he was glad to have been picked regardless.
In a post on his official Instagram page, he shared about this, shouting out the band and expressing his gratitude to have been picked as a host. He pointed out he had no clue how he earned the group’s trust. See the post below.
