It’s a Darque hour but all around us is musical light, provided by no other than Darque himself in his “Uthando” song featuring Zakes Bantwini.
“Uthando” is taken from Darque’s “Must Be Africa” album which premiered today 30 October 2020. This body of work houses 11 tracks in all and features artistes like Zacas, Serame Sediti, Ayrosh, Nuzu Deep, Presss, Tumelo Ruele, Kitchen Mess, and Sino Msolo.
Of course, of the songs in the compilation, “Uthando” is an easy favourite. It’s a love song of great sonic appeal, something you can vibe with alone or in the company of a lover. Darque and Zakes Bantwini make fine collaborative partners. This much should be obvious from this song.
In fact, we consider “Uthando” a fine gift for the weekend. If you’re planning a weekend getaway with some dear, it wouldn’t have to have this song on your playlist while you navigate somewhere interesting.
