The lead singer is a known queen in the amapiano scene, and she’s a fine musician. This much should be evident in the song in review, where she almost sang her soul out, giving the listener no option but to nod along and expect something just as engaging from her.
On the song, DJ Stokie also features Ben Da Prince, two compliments whose contribution added to the fiery energy of the jam. In fact, it’s near impossible not to envisage the musicians together again after this. They are good as a team. So why not?
A king deserves his crown, and DJ Stokie wears his with pride. Our only grouse with him is that he’s indifferent to the power of social media, and the cover art of his song, which features a headshot of the artist, is way too simple.
