How time flies! That’s one phrase people often use to address time and how it appears to move so fast. Maybe DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz have similar thoughts, but it seems just like yesterday that they had their daughter Asante.
She’s one year old now. Who would have thought?
DJ Zinhle was pregnant a while back and did everything to hide her pregnancy at the outset. But by then, her fans were already suspecting that she was pregnant, and they feasted on that news non-stop. And then, when it was almost time to give birth, the “Umlilo” hitmaker had revealed she was pregnant, after all.
In the intervening months, she would give birth but briefly hid the child’s image from the internet. Then she monetized her whole pregnancy experience and childbirth with a show she called The Unexpected,
Unexpected because she and her lover, Murdah Bongz, were not really planning to have a child. But it happened, and they were only too happy to welcome baby Asante. Now a year has passed.
In a pic shared on her verified Instagram page today, September 8, she could be seen kissing her daughter, who was looking ahead, mouth open in glee. In the caption, she noted the baby was a blessing.
Murdah Bongz has not shared a similar picture and message at the time of writing.
