Ex Global Claims He Was Never Paid As Part Of TWC

In hip-hop, you are assured of at least one thing – the music or drama. Sometimes both. South African rapper Ex Global has just caused a stir in the industry after revealing that he was never paid a cent for the music he made as part of the now-defunct collective The Wrecking Crew (TWC).

Until its demise, TWC was a fierce lyrical collective comprising some young yet key voices in South African hip hop, including A-Reece and Mashbeatz. For whatever reason, the group disbanded and each went away to pursue his stuff solo. The Wrecking Crew somehow got wrecked.

Well, after what must have come to fans as a longish silence, Ex Global has given some insights into his exit from the group. A fan had asked whether A-Reece paid him and others for features as part of TWC. To that question, Ex Global had replied that he was not paid anything.

He revealed that without animosity, however. Clarifying that he has always been a giver without expecting a reward from anyone. He indicated he has no issues with A-Reece despite not having been paid for features. You can check out his tweet below.

Will TWC members ever get together again? Time will tell.
