Kabza De Small Bags R300 000 at Metro FM Awards

The iconic King of Amapiano Kabza De Small has bagged R300 000 at the Metro FM Awards.

When it comes to making moves, and winning big, no one does it better than the King of Amapiano, Kabza De Small. The star recently won four out of five nominated categories at the Metro FM Awards, and his fans are impressed.

Themed “Black To The Future,” the event was a celebration of the achievements and contributions of black artists in the music industry. Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reported that Kabza, who was nominated for five awards, emerged the biggest winner of the night. He won a total of R300 000.

According to him, the “Asibe Happy” star won R50 000 for three categories, including Best Produced Album, Best Amapiano and Best Collaboration. He also won Song of The Year which came with a R150 000.00 cash prize.

Mphela also writes that he isn’t sure if Kabza would share with the artists featured on the song and album.

“I don’t know if he will only share with Mthuzi or everybody credited on the track will get some cut. Six artists credited on Song of The Year titled Imithandazo,”

The featured artists include Young Stunna, DJ Maphorisa, Sizwe Alakine, and Umthakathi Kush.
